Internship (80–100%) or Training in Work Pedagogy (70–80%)
Providing support to people in challenging life situations, accompanying them in everyday life, and tackling craft projects together – that is our mission at the Schmelzi Foundation. In our day centre Unterhalt, we offer clients a meaningful daily structure. Whether property maintenance, renovations, carpentry, painting, or moving: we get stuck in! Become part of our collegial team and get to know the craft of work pedagogy in practice.
Your learning field – What you will achieve with us
- Practice Coach: You accompany and support our clients appreciatively in their daily craft work.
- Resource Discoverer: You help clients maintain their strengths and develop new skills.
- Relationship Builder: You conduct client conversations, accompany admissions and discharges, and implement agreed goals together.
- Organiser: You take on coordination tasks in the area and handle administrative work (e.g. case management with GBM / P&D).
- Networker: You maintain contact with other areas of the foundation as well as with external referring agencies.
What you bring with you
- Basics: A completed initial craft training.
- Training Path: You already have a training place in the field of work pedagogy or are in the admission process.
- Personality: You greatly enjoy working with people, are empathetic, open, resilient, and work solution- and resource-oriented.
- Skills & Extras: You communicate strongly, are a true team player, and hold a category B driving licence.
