Supplementary benefits are not just about numbers and laws. It’s about people, their life situations, and the question of what support they are entitled to. You assess complex cases, penetrate different facts, and ensure that benefits are correctly and reliably delivered to the people.

In short: You ensure that people receive what they are entitled to. And that is exactly what makes your work in supplementary benefits so varied, demanding, and meaningful.

• You assess and process complex supplementary and transitional benefits cases, check entitlements, calculate benefits, conduct revisions, and write statements on objections.
• You ask the right questions, examine contexts, and clarify even complex or incomplete facts.
• You manage your cases independently, set priorities, and keep quality and deadlines in view even under high workload.
• You work closely with internal departments and external partners such as social services, legal guardians, trustees, and other specialist offices.
• You contribute your experience and ideas, help develop processes with us, and implement new legal requirements.
• You keep the life situations behind the benefit cases in mind, explain complex topics clearly, and meet your interlocutors at eye level.
• You help ensure that people receive the benefits to which they are entitled.

What you bring with you

• You have completed a commercial or equivalent education
• You have several years of experience in the social insurance sector, ideally even in the area of supplementary benefits.
• You enjoy continuously developing your expertise. Further training as a social insurance specialist with a federal diploma is a plus – or you are willing to complete it.
• You recognise connections, think beyond the individual case, and keep an overview even with complex issues.
• You work independently, carefully, and responsibly – you have your cases under control and know what needs to be done when.
• Customer-friendly and consistent? We see no contradiction in that.
