Description and Requirements
The Senior Executive Assistant to the Sales Strategy and Channel Chief (SS&CC), International Markets is a high-impact, trusted partner role supporting a senior executive with global responsibility.
Based in Geneva, the position supports the Chief Operating Officer of Lenovo’s International Markets organization, which oversees all Lenovo operations outside of China, spanning multiple geographies, cultures, and time zones.
This role goes well beyond traditional administrative support. The Senior Executive Assistant acts as a central coordination hub, working closely with global leadership teams, Chiefs of Staff, regional executive assistants, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution, prioritization, and communication at the highest level of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Executive & Operational Support
- Manage highly complex executive calendars, including internal and external meetings across multiple time zones, with continuous prioritization in a fast-moving global environment.
- Serve as a trusted partner to the SS&CC, anticipating needs, flagging risks, and enabling informed decision-making.
- Coordinate closely with Chiefs of Staff and senior leaders on leadership meetings, executive committees, and strategic reviews.
Global Meetings & Events
- Weekly virtual leadership meetings (agenda preparation, minutes, action tracking).
- Biannual in-person leadership meetings held in Geneva and other international locations.
- Lead the coordination of global All Hands meetings and Town Halls (200+ participants), managing complex logistics, stakeholder alignment, and follow-up.
International Travel Management
- Plan and manage high-complexity, multi-leg international travel, including major global events (e.g., CES, Mobile World Congress), customer engagements, and institutional meetings.
- Coordinate with regional executive assistants, Lenovo country teams, and assistants to strategic customers.
- Proactively monitor travel, optimize itineraries, and manage last-minute changes or disruptions in real time.
- Act as a gatekeeper for the SS&CC’s office, representing Lenovo with clarity and credibility to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Experience supporting senior executives (C-suite or equivalent) in large, international organizations.
- Proven ability to operate effectively within complex, matrix-based global structures.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with corporate policies related to travel, expenses, compliance, and governance.
- Fluency in English and French required; additional languages are an advantage.
- The ability to operate independently in situations where speed, discretion, and judgment are critical..
