The Zurich Cantonal Police, with its approximately 4000 employees, takes responsibility for security in the canton of Zurich. Our communications department is responsible for the multifaceted internal and external communication as well as all public relations.
Would you like to gain valuable insights into the world of organisational communication and be creative and communicative at the same time? Then you are exactly right with us! To strengthen our team, we are looking for an intern starting 1 February 2027. You will be actively involved in the diverse tasks of our communications department and can fully contribute your knowledge and creativity.
Intern in Organisational Communication for 5 Months 100%
Tasks
- Handling incoming media enquiries and communication with external partners
- Drafting media releases
- Creating and analysing the daily media review
- Monitoring and evaluating online media
- Editorial work on the staff magazine and other internal publications
- Participation in multimedia projects and productions
- Planning, realisation and publication of social media content
- Support in organising and conducting press conferences
- Assistance in planning and executing fairs and exhibitions
Profile
- Successfully completed assessment year in communication or journalism (FH or university)
- Excellent German skills and enjoyment in written expression
- Good knowledge of social media and digital communication channels
- Confident use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Independent, reliable working style as well as team spirit
- Strong communication skills and interest in further development in the field of communication
