To complete our team of Medical Secretariat staff at the Regional Hospital of Lugano, we are looking for a
Medical Practice Assistant (80% - 100%)
Profile:
The person we are looking for to strengthen our team is capable of effectively managing time and priorities, even under heavy workloads and urgent situations, including telephone triage. The ideal candidate approaches their duties with a sense of personal responsibility, is comfortable working both independently and within a dynamic team, demonstrates strong organisational and interpersonal skills, and shows genuine attention to patients' needs. They can maintain composure and stress control during busy periods, show openness to learning new tasks, a proactive spirit, and a commitment to continuous improvement, also through constructive self-criticism.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal Certificate of Competence (FCC) as a Medical Practice Assistant (mandatory!)
- Experience in the role will be considered an advantage
- Ability to manage emergencies, stressful situations, and telephone triage
- Strong sense of personal responsibility and capacity for constructive self-criticism
- Strong aptitude for working in a dynamic team
- Strong aptitude for patient assistance and administrative support tasks
- Strong aptitude for learning new tasks and proactivity
- Good knowledge of IT tools. Familiarity with the electronic patient record will be considered an advantage
- Strong command of the Italian language. Spoken and written knowledge of other national languages, as well as English, will be considered an advantage.
