These activities will inspire you
Infrastructure & Cloud Engineering
- Design, operation and further development of the data centre as well as the Azure infrastructure.
- Operation of the Windows Server landscape including Active Directory/Domain Services and GPOs.
- Cross-team collaboration in the Linux world (RHEL).
- Close cooperation with Software Engineering/DevOps and specialist departments.
Security & Endpoint Management
- Operation and further development of the Microsoft Defender environment.
- Participation in incident and alert handling (monitoring/SOC).
- Analysis, prioritisation and implementation of measures to strengthen the security situation.
Automation & Process Optimisation
- Develop and operate automations with Power Automate, scripting and central task manager platforms.
- Identify, simplify and standardise processes and workflows.
- Support teams in the introduction of new automation workflows.
Project work
- Lead and/or participate in infrastructure projects.
- Create concepts, decision bases and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal specialist departments and external partners.
Strength- and interest-based service package responsibility
- Take over or co-design service packages in the Data Centre Services team (e.g. automation, cloud coordination, identity & policy, security, certificates, e-mail) according to your strengths, interests and development goals.

Professional profile
- Broad, solid IT know-how and passion for holistic infrastructure topics and modern security technologies, especially Microsoft Defender.
- Experience with Azure Infrastructure (compute, networking, IAM/Entra ID, monitoring).
- Very good knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory (ADS).
- Knowledge and motivation for the Linux world (RHEL).
- Enjoyment of automation, process optimisation and innovative solutions.
