Construction Project Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
On behalf of the client, we are looking for an experienced professional for client-side project management of a public real estate portfolio. You will manage demanding construction, renovation and renewal projects holistically from project definition through planning and realisation to commissioning and handover. A special focus is on the energy transformation of the building portfolio with decarbonisation, energy efficiency and photovoltaics. In addition to project management, you are responsible for budgets and prepare well-founded decision-making bases for political and institutional committees.
Responsibilities:
Taking over client-side project management for construction and renovation projects within a public real estate portfolio
Holistic management of projects from project definition and planning through tendering and realisation to commissioning
Implementation of decarbonisation and net-zero targets within the assigned building portfolio
Planning and integration of photovoltaic systems, energy renovations and sustainable building technology solutions
Responsibility for project budgets, investment costs, cost forecasts and financial controlling
Management of deadlines, quality, services and project risks
Evaluation, commissioning and leadership of architects, specialist planners and external experts
Coordination of collaboration with users, authorities, offices, planners and other stakeholders
Preparation of feasibility studies, project definitions and variant comparisons as a basis for investment decisions
Development of credit applications, project reports and decision-making bases for political and institutional committees
Support of tenders, awards and contract processes taking into account the requirements of public clients
Conducting project controlling, reporting, acceptance and project closures
Qualifications:
University degree as Architect ETH/FH or comparable construction-related higher education
Further training or solid practical experience in project management of building and real estate projects
Experience in client representation, ideally with a public or institutional client
Sound knowledge in cost, schedule, quality and project controlling
Knowledge of Swiss planning and construction processes, SIA standards and public procurement processes
Expertise in energy renovation, sustainable building and decarbonisation is an advantage
Very good German language skills spoken and written
