Production Supervisor__
Job Profile Summary
Contributes to ensuring a safe working environment compliant with company directives, guaranteeing the achievement of Production/Logistics targets during the shift. Supports Production Supervisors in the daily coordination of operational activities, providing technical assistance to operators in the testing areas.
The working model for this role is onsite: #LI-Onsite
Main Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervises and ensures compliance with safety directives and the ABB code of conduct during their shift
- Supports the Production Supervisor to ensure the correct execution of production activities
- Provides technical support for testing operators during daily operations
- Point of contact for on-the-job training of testing personnel
- First level contact for operational issues to be reported to the relevant production supervisor
- Active participation in Level 1 Q Circles: proactively collects technical and quality issues and shares/reports them to the relevant supervisor
Operating Licence / Core Values
- Ensures that all personnel (within their area of responsibility) understand ABB’s core values and the group’s safety and integrity standards and act accordingly
- Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, tools, policies and processes in their assigned area
Collaboration / Leadership
- Promotes and enables collaboration within their areas of responsibility
- Manages relationships with stakeholders in their area of responsibility and ensures alignment
Professional Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in operations, preferably in coordination roles
- Experience in electrical/electronic fields
- Previous experience in team coordination roles will be considered a plus
Education
- Vocational school diploma or equivalent
