To strengthen the team, we are looking for a committed individual as a system technician in the operational field.
- When something goes wrong, you are on hand: You analyse errors, conduct root cause analyses and handle escalations according to ITIL processes
- You manage SAN/NAS platforms such as NetApp or PureStorage from provisioning through capacity management to performance tuning
- In virtualisation environments (VMware, Proxmox or similar), you provide virtual machines and clusters and ensure efficient resource utilisation
- You support enterprise backup solutions such as Veeam and NetApp SnapCenter, from daily monitoring to recovery validation
- You identify automation potentials, develop scripts to increase efficiency and work closely with the engineering team
- You work confidently with Windows and Linux, know backup solutions such as Veeam and understand network basics (TCP/IP, VLANs)
- You have completed further education in computer science at HF/FH/Uni level or an equivalent qualification; certifications with technology partners such as NetApp, PureStorage, VMware or Veeam are advantageous
- Fluent German and English skills complete your profile

Tasks
- You monitor storage, virtualisation and backup environments in NOC operations, respond to alerts and incidents, and coordinate directly with manufacturers if necessary- When something goes wrong, you are on hand: You analyse errors, conduct root cause analyses and handle escalations according to ITIL processes
- You manage SAN/NAS platforms such as NetApp or PureStorage from provisioning through capacity management to performance tuning
- In virtualisation environments (VMware, Proxmox or similar), you provide virtual machines and clusters and ensure efficient resource utilisation

Profile
- You have solid knowledge in NOC operations and are well versed in storage and virtualisation technologies (including SAN/NAS protocols, VMware/Proxmox)- You work confidently with Windows and Linux, know backup solutions such as Veeam and understand network basics (TCP/IP, VLANs)
- You have completed further education in computer science at HF/FH/Uni level or an equivalent qualification; certifications with technology partners such as NetApp, PureStorage, VMware or Veeam are advantageous
