Portfolio & Business Intelligence Manager Centre of Competence Claims Personal Insurance (m/f/d)
For our Centre of Competence Benefits Personal Insurance team, we are looking for someone who is eager to actively shape change, take responsibility, and build something together that makes an impact.
If you enjoy building a consistent data and key figure landscape as well as the associated control and reporting tools, anchoring them in the Benefits PI area and continuously developing them further, then you are exactly right with us.
In this expert role in the Benefits PI area at the headquarters in Zurich, you have the opportunity to set accents, actively effect change, and primarily support line managers as well as the department head. Furthermore: Teamwork makes the dream work! In this important interface function, you are able to promote a motivating cooperation culture in a dynamic and successful environment.

What you do
- You are the central contact person for line managers and act as the "SPOC" for cross-claims performance management in all questions regarding analysis, control, and data usage within Benefits PI; in doing so, you also coordinate with the specialist department, Finance (Reserving), Underwriting, and Performance Management to establish an integral financial view on a common data basis.
- You work at the interface between the specialist department, process management, and technical demands, support the development of clear control and reporting tools for the entire Benefits PI area, commission the implementation of dashboards and reporting solutions, and closely accompany these to optimally manage our core process landscape.
- You build a consistent, area-wide anchored data and key figure landscape for all levels of Benefits PI, analyse professional data requirements and translate them into meaningful (process) key figures, ensure their continuous development, and provide enablement and utilisation across all management levels.
- You analyse existing data and control tools, identify optimisation potentials, prepare decision bases for line managers and the department head, and contribute significantly to enabling data-based decisions in the Benefits PI area.
- You promote a motivating cooperation and change culture within the team, work closely with cross-claims performance management, and ensure that key figures and reports are anchored in the daily routine of managers and actively used for control.
What you bring
- Several years of experience (approx. 3-6 years) in a performance management role, ideally in personal insurance (daily sickness benefits/accident insurance/accident insurance supplementary) or a similar environment.
- Solid project management skills (e.g. in project control, stakeholder coordination, handling change) and a profound understanding of industry-specific requirements at the interface of specialist, technology, and finance.
- University degree (Uni/FH) in economics, business administration, data analytics, finance, consulting, or a comparable field; experience in the insurance environment.
- An open, resilient, and team-oriented personality with a positive and proactive attitude – even when things get hectic – as well as enjoyment in enabling others and sharing knowledge.
- Very good German and English skills; French is a plus.
