In the role of Business Analyst, you will strengthen the Information & Technology area in the Solution Domain P&C at Zurich Switzerland and contribute decisively to our shared success with your work.

You will be part of one of the most important strategic P&C initiatives of Zurich Switzerland, where we design and implement future products, processes, and technologies. As a Business Analyst with Focus on Integration, you take on a central role at the interface between the business and IT worlds: You analyse processes and system interfaces, create well-founded integration specifications, and ensure together with development teams and stakeholders that our systems interact seamlessly along the value chain.

What to expect

• You analyse and document process and interface requirements between Guidewire and adjacent Zurich systems along the P&C value chain
• You create precise integration specifications, such as API definitions, data flows, and mappings, as a basis for implementation by the development teams
• You work closely with Product Owners, Solution Architects, development teams, and business experts to ensure smooth end-to-end processes
• You translate complex integration requirements into actionable user stories and support the team during implementation, integration testing, and go-live
• You coordinate requirements across various systems, teams, and business areas and are the central contact person for integration questions

What distinguishes you

• You have a completed degree, for example in business informatics, computer science, or business administration, or a comparable qualification, as well as several years of experience as a Business Analyst or Requirements Engineer in an agile environment
• You bring solid experience in analysing and specifying system integrations, for example REST/SOAP APIs, event-based architectures, message queues, data flows, and mappings
• You have proven experience in the insurance environment, ideally with Guidewire systems such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, Jutro Digital Platform, or Integration Gateway and their embedding in complex IT architectures
• You convince with pronounced analytical and conceptual skills, a structured way of working, and the ability to communicate technical matters appropriately to the audience
• You have very good German and/or English skills at C1/C2 level
