Management of the Office for Health with three departments and around 18 employees Personnel, organisational and financial leadership of the office Strategic planning of healthcare provision for the cantonal population Ensuring and controlling healthcare provision in the outpatient and inpatient sectors (excluding nursing homes and Spitex) Preparation of matters and consultations for the head of the department and the government council Responsibility for health police supervision of outpatient and inpatient service providers Maintenance of inter-cantonal and national networks and cooperations, participation in various committees
University degree in political, legal, economic or medical sciences or comparable education with specialised focus in healthcare Distinct leadership skills and several years of leadership experience Knowledge and experience in the area of responsibility, familiarity with public administration processes Quick comprehension and strategic-conceptual implementation skills Confident and appropriate demeanour, assured negotiation skills Good self-management, resilient and capable of handling conflict
