About the job
Dietikon
From 1 January 2027 or by arrangement
The railway moves us – and we move the rail logistics of tomorrow. Planzer already transports over 60% of its shipments by rail and handles around 90,000 rail shipments annually within the CDS network. From 2027, we will fundamentally redesign our rail network: a new transport network is being created at over 20 stations across Switzerland. The go-live is scheduled for early 2029. Do you want to help shape this future project from the start? Then join us!
- You will take on the end-to-end project management for the evaluation, procurement and introduction of the new Transport Management System (TMS) for our rail traffic.
- You will analyse and optimise existing processes together with the specialist departments and develop the future process and system target image.
- You will develop business, process and system requirements and conduct tenders, supplier evaluations and proof of concept.
- You will design the order-to-cash processes from commissioning and planning through operational handling to billing, controlling and reporting.
- You will coordinate interfaces and system integration together with internal teams, partners and external implementation partners – from implementation through testing, training and migration to rollout.
- You will manage deadlines, budget, quality and risks and ensure the successful introduction in the nationwide rail network.
- You bring several years of experience in managing IT/digitalisation projects in the transport, logistics or supply chain environment.
- Proven experience with Rail Transport Management Systems (TMS) or comparable operational logistics systems as well as their implementation distinguishes you.
- You have a very good understanding of end-to-end transport and order-to-cash processes; experience in rail or intermodal transport is a plus.
- Requirements engineering, process modelling, system integration as well as software evaluation and procurement are part of your expertise.
- You communicate confidently with business, IT, management and external partners and know how to convey complex requirements clearly.
- Structured, analytical and independent working characterises you. In addition, you have a university or university of applied sciences degree in business informatics, computer science, logistics, supply chain management, business administration, industrial engineering or a comparable field. Very good German skills are required; French and/or Italian skills are an advantage.
