With more than 146,000 insured persons and 433 affiliated employers, BVK is the largest pension fund in Switzerland. It is a private law foundation and has an extensive portfolio of directly held real estate assets. In Switzerland, it rents out more than 6,500 residential units as well as over 350,000 m² of office and commercial space, and possesses a strategic pipeline of development projects. BVK also leverages its real estate expertise for mortgage lending. It manages assets worth approximately 45.8 billion francs. Responsible investment is a key element of its investment strategy.

Your main responsibilities

• Assume overall responsibility for project management, from planning to commissioning
• Ensure achievement of objectives regarding costs, quality, deadlines and sustainability throughout the entire project cycle
• Independently develop decision-making bases
• Manage contractual relations with external contractors
• Ensure reporting and budgeting
• Contribute to repositioning, renovation and transformation projects
• Lead and coordinate the internal project team
• Ensure quality assurance and continuous improvement of processes and tools

Your profile

• Higher education in construction, architecture, engineering or equivalent
• Proven experience in real estate or construction project management in Switzerland
• Fluent in French and good knowledge of German
• Confidence in coordinating multiple stakeholders and managing complex projects
• Ability to work independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner
• Understanding and rigour in financial, technical and legal management of real estate projects
• Interest in sustainability topics and ideally experience in circular construction
• Availability to oversee projects in both French-speaking and German-speaking Switzerland
