Do you want to play a central role in protecting our soils and maintain and provide soil information around soil mapping, soil function assessments and soil contaminants with us? Then become part of the Soil Protection Specialist Unit!
Your Tasks
- You coordinate the professional GIS and database tasks in the Soil Information section and further develop them
- You participate in current GIS projects concerning the collection, management and provision of soil information or plan and lead your own projects
- You are responsible for data management (archive) and its further development or processing
- You take on the strategic and personnel management of the section and work in the management team of the Soil Protection Unit
Your Profile
- You have a completed university of applied sciences/university degree with a soil science focus or in a related field
- You have several years of professional experience in the GIS and database environment and ideally knowledge of Python and ArcGIS Enterprise
- You enjoy leadership tasks and gladly take responsibility for yourself and your team
- You think customer-oriented and communicate clearly
- You work in a structured, forward-looking manner and keep an overview even with parallel complex projects
