What to expect

• You are jointly responsible for the engineering, operation, and continuous development of our network and security platforms in the areas of Network Security, Internet Security, E-Mail Security, and Content Security.
• You further develop our network services around DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI) and ensure reliable operation together with the team.
• You analyse faults and incidents, tackle complex technical challenges, and advance them together with others.
• You work closely with IT Security and ensure the secure and practical implementation of policies and security requirements.
• You identify automation potential and have the opportunity to independently implement corresponding solutions. In doing so, you actively contribute to simplifying our operational processes.

What you bring

• You have a solid technical foundation and have already gained practical experience in the network, security, or infrastructure environment.
• You are interested in modern network and security platforms and are willing to independently familiarise yourself with new technologies and complex topics.
• You bring knowledge in one or more areas such as Network Security, Internet Security, E-Mail Security, DDI, or network technologies.
• Experience with Fortinet Firewalls, Tufin for Firewall Policy Management, Netskope in the SSE area, as well as Cisco network infrastructure or E-Mail Security Gateways is an advantage.
• You enjoy analysing technical problems, developing solutions, and driving your topics forward independently.
• You recognise automation potential and have an interest in scripting, APIs, and automating operational processes.
• You are a communicative, team-oriented, and solution-focused personality.
• You have very good command of the German language, both spoken and written, and can easily understand English documentation.
• Ideally, you are willing to support our team in on-call duty as well.
