Class and annual salary (including 13th month):

6 68,456.-- / 107,475.--

Tasks:

• performs educational care interventions and tasks established and agreed upon within the framework of team work aimed at promoting and maintaining health, stimulating the resocialization and personal autonomy of the residents
• participates, depending on the objectives set in the educational project, in the rehabilitation and social and professional integration activities of the residents
• collaborates and maintains regular contact both with other health and social workers involved with the resident, and with the family or their representatives
• conducts and records entry assessments, educational work, and the resident's progress on the appropriate documents, as well as participates in summary and supervision meetings provided for in the Housing Unit or Inclusive Professional Areas (API)
• collaborates with social-health schools in training students in accordance with internship objectives
• manages and takes care of the order and cleanliness of medical materials, equipment, medications in the residences' infirmary and APIs
• executes medical prescriptions and therapeutic interventions authorized by their specific training or particular instructions received and verified by direct superiors; respects all hygiene rules and ensures quality logistical conditions within the protected housing or APIs

Requirements:

• SUP social worker diploma (option: educator) or equivalent qualification
• if holding a foreign qualification, recognition by SEFRI (State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation)
• previous experience in intermediate socio-educational and rehabilitative facilities
• ability to work in a team, critical thinking, ability to engage in dialogue, creativity, proactive attitude, flexibility, empathy, and relational skills
• ability to enter and maintain relationships even in crisis situations
• ability to develop and support rehabilitation projects respecting educational-pedagogical principles
• knowledge of the territory, institutions, and social-health network of the Canton Ticino
• perfect command of the Italian language and knowledge of another official language

• employment relationship: full-time or part-time; candidates are invited to indicate the desired percentage in their application

• working hours: 42 hours per week (for a 100% employment relationship), flexible or according to service needs
