About the job
The Resident Control, in the Department of Security and Environment, is the first point of contact at the city administration. Our customers are advised competently and friendly. In our varied and lively operation, we are looking to complement our team from July 1, 2026 or by arrangement with a clerk.Your Tasks
- Advising customers by phone and at the counter
- Maintaining the resident register as well as clarifying registration matters including correspondence and data cleaning tasks
- Creating extracts and confirmations from the resident register as well as identity card applications
- Receiving, checking, and preparing applications related to foreign residence regulations on behalf of the Migration Office
- Tasks in the areas of voting and dog registers as well as health insurance obligation
Your Profile
- Commercial basic education (mandatory)
- Experience in public administration, ideally in resident control, an advantage
- Open-minded, team-oriented, resilient, and flexible personality
- Efficient, independent, and responsible way of working
- Confident German, oral English skills as well as good MS Office application knowledge, additional foreign languages an advantage
- Experience with the specialist application InnosolvCity an advantage
