C / C++ Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)
Our client is an internationally active technology company in the field of municipal and cleaning technology. The company develops and produces specialised vehicles and systems for street cleaning, winter services and other municipal applications. Employees benefit from a technically demanding environment with international interfaces.
Role:
You don’t just want to write code, but bring real machines to life? In this role as an Embedded Software Engineer, you take responsibility for making systems even smarter. You develop the next generation of smart, electric and sustainable specialised vehicles and see directly what your code moves: from control to the finished machine on the road. You spend your time implementing innovative solutions and continuously developing products to provide real added value to our customers. You are committed and have short decision-making paths, enabling you to work efficiently and successfully.
Responsibilities:
- You develop embedded software for real high-tech systems
- You work on electric drives and controls in a growing future field
- You take responsibility for your own topics or sub-projects
- You work closely with mechanics, electrical engineering, hydraulics and production and see the direct impact of your work
- You are part of a team that works pragmatically, quickly and solution-oriented
- You create software designs, specifications and test concepts
Qualifications:
- You have a technical education in automotive, electrical or systems engineering as well as a FH / ETH degree
- You bring experience in embedded software development as well as in measurement and control technology
- You have good knowledge of modern C / C++ programming
- You have experience with Git and ideally with functional safety
- You have experience with agile methods
- You have good knowledge of German and English
