Junior System Engineer
We are looking for a Junior System Engineer in the field of data platforms and Linux within IT infrastructure. The workplace is Zurich.
- Engineering & operation of highly scalable data platforms on Red Hat Linux? and OpenShift? infrastructures;
- Automation & optimisation of deployments and operational processes using GitOps, Ansible and Infrastructure as Code approaches;
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with data science?, security- and server? teams to integrate complex overall solutions;
- 2nd?level?support including on-call duty.
- Completed studies in computer science, information technology or a related field (FH/Uni/ETH);
- Strong analytical and communication skills to analyse problems and solve them constructively;
- Practical experience in Linux? engineering and operations (RedHatLinux, OpenShift, Bash, GitLab, Python);
- Experience in Infrastructure as Code and application of GitOps? principles;
- Knowledge of security? concepts (e.g. RBAC, network? segmentation, secrets? management);
- Fluent in German or French as well as English.
