As part of our Digital Solutions team, you actively drive the digitalisation of our internal applications and processes. In doing so, you realise diverse projects at the interface of technology and energy markets. You take responsibility from the start and have a direct impact on Ompex's success.

• We are a European energy service provider and energy trader based in Zurich city
• We digitalise electricity and gas supply and support energy suppliers as well as large industry in the energy transition

Your area of responsibility:

• As a software engineer, you help actively develop our customer platform as well as various other internal web applications
• You work in a small team and accompany the entire development process from concept to implementation to deployment and subsequent operation
• You develop concepts for new functions together with our portfolio management & sales team and implement them in a sustainable way
• You contribute ideas for process improvement and accompany their technical implementation. If interested, support in IT infrastructure

 
Your profile:

• You have solid programming skills in at least one of the following technologies: Java, React, Typescript, Go
• Cross-departmental communication is natural for you. You build bridges between teams and ensure that information flows clearly and efficiently
• You have a good understanding of web development and already bring a few years of experience
• You can explain technical contexts understandably to non-technicians. You work independently and are an open and team-oriented personality
