About the job
The open and lively parish of St. Agatha Buchrain in the agglomeration of Lucerne has about 3100 members. The motivated parish and catechesis team accompanies people through a diverse range of offerings. Together with the parishes of Root and Ebikon, we form the pastoral area Rontal. In the future, we will develop new structures and forms of faith transmission in the pastoral area, which create spaces for encounters in faith (BIG). From August 1, 2025, or by arrangement, we are looking for a catechist (RPI/KIL) 50 - 70% Your areas of responsibility:- extracurricular religious education in cycle 3 (10 - 15%)
- youth pastoral care in cycle 4 in the parish, cooperation, networking in the pastoral area (10%)
- collaboration in the confirmation path 17+ (5%)
- mini leader of a small active mini group (10%)
- collaboration in the parish team as well as at parish events and projects (5 -10%)
- responsibility for the area of social media and
- completed religious education training at KIL/RPI or an equivalent qualification
- committed openness and discretion in dealing with people
- joy in work, creativity, flexibility, reliability, ability to work in a team
- commitment and rootedness in the Christian faith
- good knowledge and practice in social media
- independent and varied work
- support from the committed parish and secretariat team
- a modern infrastructure, active Blauring-Jungwacht groups, good networking in the village
