Your area of responsibility

In this responsible position as Application Expert D365 Finance

you are the central expert for the digitalisation, optimisation and further development of our financial processes. You work within IT at the interface between finance and other departments and ensure that our processes and value flows are efficiently and future-proofly mapped in D365.

With your understanding of business contexts and your expertise in D365, you significantly contribute to data integrity, process automation and the provision of decision-relevant information.

• System configuration and optimisation: You configure and further develop solutions in D365 Finance and AX2012 Finance
• Process analysis and solution design: You analyse existing financial processes – such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and asset accounting, controlling and cost accounting – and design efficient, standardised workflows in D365
• Data management and integration: Together with the responsible departments, you ensure data quality and consistency and manage integration with other D365 modules, especially Supply Chain Management, as well as third-party systems
• Reporting and analysis: You develop and implement meaningful financial reports and key performance indicator systems
• User support and training: You are a competent contact person for the departments, provide 2nd and 3rd level support and conduct training for users
• Project participation and further development: You actively participate in the introduction of new functionalities, rollouts and system upgrades and take responsibility for the further development of the finance applications

What you bring

• D365 Finance experience: Solid, several years of practical experience in configuring and customising Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance
• Process understanding: Very good understanding of end-to-end processes in finance, especially record-to-report, procure-to-pay and order-to-cash
• Finance expertise: Sound knowledge in accounting, for example OR, Swiss GAAP FER or IFRS, controlling and cost accounting
• ERP and integration experience: Experience with interfaces, data flows as well as role and authorisation concepts in a complex ERP landscape
• Analytical working style: You quickly grasp complex contexts, work in a structured, precise and solution-oriented manner
• Communication skills: You communicate clearly with contacts from IT and finance and can convey technical as well as professional matters understandably
• Initiative and teamwork: You recognise improvement potentials, drive solutions independently and enjoy working in a team
• Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications in the area of D365 Finance are an advantage
