Role:
Your task is to develop, implement and optimise innovative automation solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design, programming and commissioning of control systems based on Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens S7 and TIA
- Development of automation solutions for production plants and processes
- Programming of PLC controls, HMI systems and SCADA systems
- Creation of specifications, requirement documents and functional descriptions
- Integration of field devices, sensors and actuators into automation systems
- Conducting system tests, fault analysis and troubleshooting
- Optimising existing automation solutions in terms of efficiency and quality
- Collaboration in interdisciplinary project teams and close coordination with customers and suppliers
- Adherence to project goals regarding time, cost and quality
- Consulting customers regarding automation solutions and technologies
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in electrical engineering, automation technology or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in programming and commissioning automation systems, preferably with Rockwell (Allen-Bradley), Siemens S7 and TIA
- Sound knowledge in control programming (FBS, KOP, AWL) as well as in process visualisation (HMI, SCADA)
- Experience in integrating field devices and industrial networks (Profinet, Profibus)
- Good knowledge of relevant automation standards and protocols
- Confident handling of programming languages such as ladder logic, structured text or function block diagram
- Knowledge in using tools for fault analysis and troubleshooting (e.g. diagnostic tools, simulation)
- Teamwork skills, strong communication and customer orientation
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
