Role:
You want to not only operate cloud infrastructures but actively improve them through clean architecture, automation, and reusable standards? In this role, you develop Azure platforms and cloud products that can be deployed efficiently and operated reliably. You combine technical implementation with architectural decisions, take responsibility for solutions in customer projects, and work closely with internal specialists and customers. You have the opportunity to further develop engineering practices and help shape sustainable cloud solutions.
Responsibilities:
You develop standardised Azure cloud platforms and existing cloud products further so that they can be used consistently and efficiently.
You design and implement cloud architectures considering governance, security, identity, and networking.
You automate the provisioning and configuration of cloud infrastructures with Terraform and integrate the processes into suitable CI/CD pipelines.
You take technical responsibility in customer projects, analyse requirements, and implement appropriate technical solutions.
You contribute your experience to the definition and further development of architectural guidelines and engineering standards.
You work closely with customers and internal engineering teams and support the continuous improvement of existing solutions.
Qualifications:
You have solid experience with Microsoft Azure and are particularly knowledgeable in networking, identity, and security.
You master Terraform and routinely use infrastructure as code for automating cloud environments.
You have experience with Azure Landing Zones and the Cloud Adoption Framework as well as with Azure Policy, Microsoft Entra ID, and monitoring.
You use Git and CI/CD confidently and understand how to implement automated deployments reliably and transparently.
You understand the requirements for cloud operating models and managed services.
You want to develop standardised cloud solutions and actively help shape technical products and engineering standards.
You work independently, pragmatically, and solution-oriented and take responsibility for your technical decisions.
You communicate customer-oriented, bring consulting competence, and appreciate open exchange within the team.
You have very good German skills and good to very good English skills.
