Chemical Operator (m/f/d)

As a first-tier supplier to our renowned business partner, Roche Diagnostics in Rotkreuz, we are immediately seeking a motivated and committed Chemical Operator for a 12-month assignment with the option to extend.

Responsibilities

• Innovative Sequencing Processes (NGS): Assisting in the development and operation of new sequencing methods as well as preparation of critical reagents and materials.
• Chemical Production & Precursors: Synthesis of chemical precursors for sensor and electrode systems as well as incoming goods inspection and analysis of raw materials.
• Quality Control & Analytics: Final inspection of sensors and components according to specifications and timely execution of analyses.
• GMP & Process Documentation: Diligent recording of all steps in accordance with GMP standards (including deviation management and maintenance of work instructions).
• Material & Warehouse Handling: Support in inventory management and documentation in daily laboratory operations.

Your Profile

• Education: Completed vocational training as a chemical laboratory technician, chemical operator, CTA, laboratory technician EFZ (chemistry/biology) or a bachelor’s degree in chemistry / life sciences (or equivalent).
• Practical Experience: Initial experience (0-2 years, also gladly through relevant internships/apprenticeships) in the production of chemical or pharmaceutical products.
• Quality Awareness: Basic understanding of GMP-compliant work and clean documentation.
• Eagerness to Learn: Curiosity and motivation to familiarise yourself with new procedures in molecular biology and diagnostics.
• Language Skills: Very good German skills; English skills are advantageous for collaboration in the international team.
