Faculty of Law at the University of Bern, Institute of Public Law
Start of employment: February 1, 2026, or by agreement
The employment is project-based and initially limited until December 31, 2026.
As the person responsible for the social media presence, you will manage the science communication for all areas of law at the Faculty of Law. You will engage with the latest developments in research and teaching and present them appealingly for social media. In doing so, you will learn to convey complex legal insights precisely and succinctly and communicate confidently in the digital space.
Tasks
- Operational management of the social media presence of the Faculty of Law on major channels (BlueSky, LinkedIn) for the purpose of science communication
- Administrative and editorial support for the podcast "Legal Consequence", especially preparation and recording of individual episodes
- Processing scientific content and maintaining the social media community
- Periodic evaluation of the social media presence
Requirements
- Fascination and curiosity for legal sciences (criminal, civil, commercial, and public law)
- Interest in science communication and a feel for conveying scientific content
- Quick comprehension, precise and concise writing style, confident communication with researchers/teachers
- Good academic performance in legal studies
- Solid skills in dealing with new technical challenges
Preferably, you are at the beginning of your master's or in the last year of your bachelor's degree in law.
