DevOps Engineer
What awaits you:
- Further develop the software solution for passenger information on trains, implement new functions and interfaces, and ensure their reliable operation
- Maintain the CI/CD pipeline as well as automate and continuously optimise build, test, deployment, and operational processes
- Analyse and resolve faults in 2nd and 3rd level support and work together with internal and external specialist teams to develop and implement sustainable improvements
- Plan, accompany, and coordinate releases, maintenance work, and technical changes, as well as maintain system and operational documentation
- Develop and implement new professional and technical requirements together with product owners, specialist departments, suppliers, and other IT teams
What you bring with you:
- Completed training or further education in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable field
- Several years of experience in software development as well as in operating productive applications
- Good knowledge of Java and experience with CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and modern development tools, ideally OpenShift and GitLab
- Solid practical experience in application management as well as in analysing and resolving faults in complex system landscapes
- Structured and solution-oriented working style, strong analytical skills, and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration with various stakeholders
