In your role, as a member of the Private Banking leadership teams, you shape the further development of our successful Wealth Planning and position ZKB in the market among private clients and entrepreneurs as a reference for holistic pension and financial planning solutions.
- Strategic leadership and further development of the Wealth Planning department with around 100 employees in the specialist areas of financial planning and pensions, inheritances, taxes, as well as staff/service centre
- Translating complex pension and planning topics into clear, understandable client language and ensuring consistent, integral, and client-oriented advice in the market
- Driving and co-shaping the bank's pension strategy in close cooperation with product management and strengthening the position/positioning of ZKB in the area of pensions and Wealth Planning
- Promoting proactive, sales-oriented, and cross-departmental collaboration
- Leading, inspiring, and further developing your managers and specialist professionals across several leadership levels and fostering an engaged and learning-oriented culture
- Positioning Zürcher Kantonalbank as a competent contact in all segments in external appearances
- Advancing the digitalisation of the Wealth Planning area and ensuring interdisciplinary networking in the pension field within Private Banking and beyond
- Co-shaping the strategic further development of Private Banking as a member of the leadership committee and contributing your networked, entrepreneurial thinking for the future of the business area and the bank
- Completed university degree in economics, law, or a related field as well as further education (e.g. MAS, MBA, Swiss federal diploma in financial planning expert or equivalent qualification)
- Many years of professional experience in Private Banking, ideally with a focus on Wealth Planning, financial planning, and pension topics, as well as experience in a sales-oriented leadership role
- Sound knowledge in the areas of pensions, asset and estate planning, as well as taxes, and the ability to translate this knowledge into understandable, target-group-appropriate client language
- Strategic, analytical, and networked thinking as well as confidence in dealing with economic control variables to specifically further develop and strengthen Private Banking
- Proven leadership competence with experience in leading larger units across several leadership levels, combined with empathy, clarity, and joy in developing people
- High affinity for market development, sales, and external representation as well as willingness to represent ZKB as a strong voice in the pension and Wealth Planning market
- Openness to change and the ability to further develop existing initiatives in digitalisation, processes, and advisory concepts
- Very good German language skills in spoken and written form, good English skills – any additional language is a plus
- Excellent communication, presentation, and representation skills to appear convincingly both internally and externally
