Head of Strategic Purchasing 100% (m/f/d)
Salary - CHF115,000 - 130,000Our ROCKEN partner is a globally operating technology company. It has 12 branches worldwide and works with local business partners in more than 45 countries. They specialise in high-tech KVM products & solutions for the transmission, control, distribution and display of various real-time data in trading and control rooms.
Responsibilities:
Development and implementation of an international procurement plan considering operational and economic requirements
Leadership of the local purchasing team as well as professional support of international purchasing staff
Conducting supplier negotiations and concluding strategic procurement agreements
Analysis of cost structures and realisation of savings across the entire purchasing area
Participation in technical development projects, especially in cost calculations and profitability assessments
Monitoring supplier metrics, contract conditions and procurement risks
Definition of sourcing guidelines for new projects and existing production processes
Coordination with design, quality assurance and production on purchasing-related issues
Qualifications:
Completed studies in engineering, business administration or supply chain management
Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing in an industrial or technology company
Knowledge of international procurement and building supplier structures
Experience with costed BOM, design-to-cost and economic make-or-buy evaluations
Experience in professional or personnel leadership of employees
Strong numerical understanding and experience in analysing procurement markets
Independent working style as well as confident appearance in negotiations and interdisciplinary teams
Very good German and good English skills, both spoken and written
