Security arises where IT and high-tech production meet. As a Security Operations Engineer, you build up and continuously develop the security organisation of an internationally active company. You work hands-on in operating the Information Security Management System (ISMS) and on concrete security solutions. Collaboration with IT operations teams at various locations worldwide is a fixed part of everyday life. Those seeking impact rather than routine will find plenty of scope for shaping here.
Responsibilities:
You operationally manage the ISMS and maintain policies, processes and security controls
You identify, assess and track vulnerabilities, especially in engineering, production and OT-related environments
Furthermore, you analyse security events and support containment and remediation of incidents
You further develop the deployed solutions in Endpoint Security, Identity Security, email security, logging and monitoring
Additionally, you operate the security awareness platform including training campaigns and phishing tests
You also contribute to risk analyses, audits, key figures and IT risk reporting
Qualifications:
You have completed training or studies in computer science or systems engineering
Several years of practical experience in IT operations, IT infrastructure or IT security distinguish you
You are familiar with several areas, such as identity and access management, Microsoft 365 (M365), network security or vulnerability management
In addition, knowledge of common standards such as ISO 27001, NIST or CIS Controls is advantageous
Analytical thinking, a structured working method and a pronounced hands-on mentality are among your strengths
Moreover, you communicate confidently in German, move confidently in English in an international environment and are willing to travel occasionally
