Laundry Specialist (80%)

The Bernaville Foundation offers 95 residential places as well as 145 adapted work and day centre places for people with cognitive and multiple impairments. The wide range of tailored services provides the basis for a self-determined and participation-oriented life with a high quality of life.

• Assuming professional responsibility and organisation of the in-house laundry
• Ensuring a high-quality, efficient and professional laundry operation for the processing of internal laundry as well as external specialist laundry from customers
• Ensuring the smooth process from textile care, washing, drying and ironing to proper provision
• You accompany, promote and support twelve employees with impairments in their daily work. You take into account their individual abilities and needs

• Completed training as a department head in hotel and domestic management, domestic management specialist EFZ or equivalent training
• Solid professional experience in a laundry, preferably in care services
• Completed training as a work educator or willingness to complete it
• Joy and experience in working with and supporting people with cognitive impairments
• A patient, team-oriented and empathetic personality with an appreciative and respectful attitude
