Responsibilities:
You manage procurement for the assigned product group within the cluster.
You plan and coordinate supplier awards together with the responsible departments.
You specifically develop and support regional and local suppliers.
You implement global purchasing guidelines at cluster level into appropriate measures.
You evaluate market information and derive optimisations in purchasing from it.
Budget planning and economic objectives are also part of your responsibilities.
You lead a small category team professionally and ensure task distribution.
You monitor purchasing key figures and ensure compliance with defined requirements.
Qualifications:
Completed degree or a comparable higher professional qualification.
At least five years of experience in purchasing, sourcing or category management.
Practical knowledge from an international or corporate-like business environment.
Confident handling of cost analyses, budgets and economic decision-making bases.
Negotiation-secure communication with suppliers and internal contacts.
Experience in professional or disciplinary leadership of employees.
Very good knowledge of MS Office; SAP experience is an advantage.
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form.
