Temporary Non-Care Placement Officer (CART Unit)
We are looking for a Temporary Non-Care Placement Officer at 80% - 100% to join the new Temporary Resources Administrative Unit (CART) within the recruitment sector of the Human Resources Directorate. You will contribute to the management and coordination of internal and external temporary resources for the administrative, logistical, technical and IT sectors of the institution. The starting date is to be agreed.
Context
Join a high-impact project at the heart of CHUV's operations
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV), one of Switzerland's five university hospitals, is distinguished by its excellence in care, research and education. Thanks to its close collaborations with the University of Lausanne and EPFL, it contributes daily to tomorrow's medical advances.
To support the evolution of its needs and strengthen its operational agility, the Human Resources Directorate is creating the Temporary Resources Administrative Unit (CART). This new unit's mission is to centralise and optimise the management of non-care temporary resources, essential to the smooth running of the institution's administrative, logistical, technical and IT activities.
By joining CART, you will become part of a team with a key role, situated at the crossroads of service needs and available talents. A true partner to CHUV teams, the unit coordinates internal and external resources to ensure continuity of activities, while providing a seamless experience for employees, managers and placement partners.
Beyond daily mission management, CART participates in building a modern, efficient placement model focused on service quality. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative, high-impact project within a reference institution where every action directly supports the mission of care and service to the population.
Mission
At the heart of CHUV's activity continuity challenges, you play a key role in matching service needs with available talents. As the pivot of temporary placement activities, you help ensure a rapid, effective and quality response to non-care resource needs.
In this context, you:
- Analyse temporary replacement needs communicated by various CHUV services and identify the most suitable solutions
- Mobilise and schedule future internal pool employees taking into account operational priorities and current directives
- Coordinate all placements with requesting services, concerned employees and external partners to ensure a smooth experience for all stakeholders
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of missions and manage adaptations, interruptions or special situations responsively
- Activate partner agencies when needs cannot be met by the internal pool and ensure proper transmission of requests
- Guarantee the reliability of information by keeping data and missions up to date in various management tools, notably PRIM
- Contribute to effective communication by managing the unit's mailbox and ensuring information flow
- Prepare administrative documents, convocations and materials necessary for the unit's smooth operation
- Represent a privileged contact point for temporary employees, managers and partners, ensuring a professional and service-oriented welcome
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of placement processes and optimisation of temporary resource management
- Support administrative activities related to mission follow-up and invoicing, thus contributing to the unit's overall efficiency.
Through your organisational skills, client orientation and ability to coordinate multiple interlocutors, you directly contribute to CHUV's operational performance and service quality.
Profile
- You hold a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification
- You hold a certificate as a personnel management assistant or an equivalent title
- You have at least 3 years' experience in personnel placement, ideally within a placement agency, internal placement structure or operationally oriented HR service
- You are comfortable managing numerous simultaneous requests and know how to prioritise your activities effectively
- You demonstrate good stress management and appreciate dynamic environments
- You possess analytical and organisational skills
- You have a service mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
- You are proficient with common office tools; knowledge of PRIM, Polypoint or GDI is an asset
- Experience in a hospital environment or in a setting subject to significant operational constraints is an advantage.
