Your future job content

In this role, you actively shape software development in the hardware-near environment for highly precise applications on our machines using AI tools.

• Analysis, design and implementation of software for mechatronic systems in the hardware-near environment with real-time requirements
• Implementation of automated tests as well as verification and debugging of the software using test systems and directly on the machine
• Use of modern AI-supported development tools throughout the entire software lifecycle
• Conducting and participating in design and code reviews as well as creating the corresponding documentation
• Active collaboration in a Scrum team as well as interdisciplinary cooperation in the project with other departments and other locations

What speaks for you

You are passionate about technology and want to contribute your know-how in an innovative environment? Then ideally you bring the following:

• Completed studies (FH/Uni/ETH) in computer science, electrical engineering, robotics or a comparable field
• Good knowledge of C++, UML, OO design and OO programming
• Knowledge of C#, Python, LUA and web technologies is an advantage
• Proven practical experience with modern AI tools such as GitHub Copilot or comparable platforms
• Ability to critically evaluate and verify AI-generated code
• Good knowledge in prompt engineering for large language models
• Innovative spirit, initiative, analytical thinking, solution-oriented action and enthusiasm for new technologies
• Very good communication skills in German and English
