The position holder

• takes on tasks in the specialist areas of geriatrics, nursing science fundamentals, home care (Spitex), and practical responsibility and positions themselves within these areas.
• independently designs teaching units, plans courses or modules as a module coordinator (with financial responsibility), and ensures their integration into the curriculum according to the GesBG final competencies.
• creates performance records and supervises written assignments.
• continuously adapts teaching based on module evaluations, changing framework conditions, and own working methods.
• contributes to ensuring and continuously developing the quality of the study program and leads teaching-related working and project groups.
• takes on tasks in strategic professional and curriculum development and is responsible for knowledge management (internal/external), which positions and strengthens the specialist areas.
• holds content responsibility for modules/cross-cutting topics and their further development in their own specialist area and participates in research projects.
• is involved in public relations work.
• University degree in nursing science at master’s level (MSc) and didactic further training (CAS University Didactics)
• Experience in practical nursing in the Swiss healthcare system as well as professional specialization in geriatric and outpatient nursing
• Teaching experience at tertiary level
• Experience in project management
• Strong interest in further developing attractive teaching offers to sustainably establish nursing education at tertiary level A
• High social competence and motivation to contribute to result-oriented, interprofessional problem-solving in the university environment
• Excellent presentation skills and confident communication in German and English
