Head of Purchasing and Planning

About the job

Your task:

You ensure the smooth running of purchasing and planning activities, from procurement, through scheduling to the delivery of finished products. In close cooperation with production and logistics, you contribute to the performance of the supply chain through careful planning, control of material flows and a continuous improvement approach.

Your responsibilities:

• Leading a team of 2 employees
• Purchasing under the best conditions and within the specified deadlines, while maintaining good relationships with our partners and suppliers.
• Managing production planning and scheduling: handling manufacturing orders and their follow-up in collaboration with team leaders.
• Defining and implementing the strategy for managing safety stocks.

• Technical or commercial training with industrial experience.
• Further training in purchasing, procurement, planning or supply chain.
• A higher education qualification (HF/FH) is an advantage.
• Languages: German and French, good knowledge of English.
• Outgoing personality, good listening skills, independent working style combined with strong team spirit, analytical and conceptual skills.
