As a Property Underwriter for international corporate clients, you ensure market-oriented and risk-appropriate underwriting. With excellence, integrity and process efficiency, you are responsible for operational risk assessment in exchange with our distribution partners and ensure that our clients always receive a first-class customer experience.

What you do

• You are responsible for risk identification, evaluation and assessment for the corporate clients assigned to you
• You underwrite risks independently and profit-oriented within the scope of the authority matrix and internal guidelines
• You ensure market-oriented risk selection including portfolio quality of corporate products and conduct risk consultations for our distribution partners
• You advise and negotiate with direct clients and act as a professional contact person for our distribution partners as well as within Zurich
• You help shape the strategic direction of operational underwriting and contribute to the continuous optimisation of processes and services

What you bring

• Commercial basic training in the insurance industry including specialised further education (e.g. Swiss Federal Insurance Specialist Certificate or HFV)
• Relevant professional experience in international corporate business and in operational underwriting or product management
• Proven experience in successful relationship management with distribution partners and the associated customer-, solution- and performance-oriented working style
• Good analytical skills and independent working style, combined with a strong sense of responsibility
• Fluent German and English skills, additional national languages are an advantage
