Your Challenge
- Review and processing of new client onboarding as well as periodic and ad hoc client reviews
- Conducting risk-based KYC, AML, and sanctions checks for natural and legal persons
- Analysis and assessment of client risks, transaction monitoring cases, and screening hits
- Preparation and drafting of decision-making bases related to complex or high-risk business relationships for senior management
- Identification, assessment, and escalation of compliance, money laundering, and sanctions risks to the relevant stakeholders
- Execution of controls and quality assurance measures to ensure regulatory and internal requirements
- Participation in the preparation of key figures and management reporting
- Conducting and supporting testing activities as well as contributing to the further development of processes, systems, and controls
- Involvement in training and awareness initiatives
Your Profile
- At least 2 years of professional experience in banking compliance, especially in KYC onboarding, KYC reviews, and transaction monitoring
- Completed banking apprenticeship or a commercial, legal, or business administration qualification; ideally complemented by a higher qualification (FH, HF or equivalent)
- Understanding of regulatory requirements in the banking and financial services environment as well as good knowledge of anti-money laundering (AML), KYC, and CDD requirements
- Ability to analyse complex client structures and economic backgrounds
- Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style with a quick grasp
- Ability to communicate decisions appropriately and clearly to the target audience
- High reliability, consistency, and a professional demeanour
- Very good knowledge of MS Office applications
- Experience with Avaloq is an advantage
- Fluent German and business fluent English skills
