Senior / Design Engineer for projects in international plant engineering mechanical engineering / electrical engineering

Your area of responsibility:

• You handle engineering projects in international plant engineering / energy engineering (high voltage technology)
• Participation in the planning and technical development of large plants
• Coordination and communication between customers, suppliers, and third parties
• Performing basic and detailed engineering, including the development of plant layouts in 3D, diagrams, equipment lists, specification drawings, isometrics, and material take-offs
• Independent handling of work packages in the area of external procurement (from specification through request for quotation to order and delivery)
• Creation of project documentation
• Support of the assembly and commissioning process
• Regular contact with customers and various internal and external departments such as project management, purchasing, or commercial order processing

Your profile:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in systems / electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• 2-5 years of relevant professional experience in project planning, ideally in the field of high voltage technology
• Very good knowledge of CAD software (e.g., Creo, AutoCAD, Trimble ProDesign) and other engineering tools
• Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to contribute to the creation of project schedules and tracking project progress
• Familiarity with supporting various project phases, including production, transport, installation, and testing
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and escalate issues
• Experience in coordinating resources, including materials and equipment
• Ability to work effectively in an international team environment and collaborate with other departments
• Fluent English skills; knowledge of additional languages (e.g., Spanish or French) is an advantage
• Your place of residence is in Switzerland
