Logistics Agents in Hospital Logistics
The Supply, Distribution and Storage Service (ADS) is looking for several logistics agents with a workload between 80% and 100% (permanent contract).
Recruitment will reopen in winter 2026 for positions starting in 2027.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals and one of the best in the world according to the 2025 ranking by Newsweek magazine. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading and European-scale role in medical care, medical research and education.
The Hospital Logistics Department (LOH) is tasked with ensuring that care, teaching and research units can fully focus on their core activities by providing and developing efficient operational logistics services (disinfection and maintenance, patient transfers, sterilisation, catering, goods transport, stock management, etc.).
The Supply, Distribution and Storage Service (ADS) has nearly 130 employees. Its main mission is to control the flow of goods and mail entering and leaving the institution. At the same time, its professional teams manage the stocks of care units, both on hospital floors and for operating theatres.
Mission
- You ensure the handling and delivery of goods and merchandise in operating theatres and production units
- You ensure distribution on the floors up to the last mile
- You participate in the maintenance and cleaning of equipment and automated guided vehicles according to current protocols and instructions
- You train and support new employees
- You are willing to work irregular hours (day, evening, weekends and public holidays, on-call service) in a demanding role (heavy lifting, long distances and repetitive movements)
Profile
- You hold, if possible, an AFP in logistics or an equivalent qualification
- You have at least 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution or transport
- You hold a forklift truck licence (tow tractors)
- You have completed a course on manual handling, an advantage
- You have good knowledge of office tools (ERP, Excel, ...)
- You have good knowledge of French (minimum B2)
- You are organised, autonomous and have a strong ability to work in a team
- You are interested in a dynamic and constantly evolving field.
