For our Human Resources department, we are seeking a competent and motivated HR specialist starting February 2027 or by arrangement.HR Specialist
Protection & Rescue Zurich (SRZ) unites, as a service department of the Security Department, the professional and militia fire brigades, the ambulance service, and the operations control centre (ELZ) for emergency calls 144 and 118. Additionally, civil protection, fire police, and a training centre with an affiliated Higher Technical School for Rescue Professions (HFRB) belong to the largest civilian rescue organisation in Switzerland. Intervention and prevention units protect and rescue people, animals, property, and the environment around the clock in the city of Zurich, at Zurich Airport, and in the surrounding agglomeration.
Responsibilities
- Personnel administration from entry to exit
- Monitoring compliance with personnel law requirements
- Creating and preparing management key figures
- Independent master data entry and maintenance
- Assisting with timely monthly payroll closing
- Maintaining contact with employees and supervisors as well as authorities, offices, and social insurance partners
- Advising employees and supervisors on personnel administrative matters
Profile
- Teamwork, resilience, and sense of responsibility
- The ability to reliably devote the necessary care to every important detail and a passion for administrative tasks
- A commercial basic education as well as further training in the personnel field and at least 3 years of relevant practical experience
- Solid SAP knowledge and confident use of the MS Office suite
- IT affinity, a flair for numbers, and very good German skills (spoken and written)
