You know metal construction – and want to write about it?

«metall» is the specialist and association medium for executives in the Swiss metal construction industry. You combine industry understanding with journalistic instinct, identify relevant topics and present them clearly and excitingly.

Depending on experience and profile, the role can be supplemented with further tasks related to the trade journal up to publishing management.

Your tasks

• Research and write specialist articles, reports, interviews
• Edit and ensure the technical accuracy of supplied content
• Recognise and classify trends and developments in metal construction
• Maintain and expand the industry network
• Recruit and support external authors and experts
• Co-design digital content on metallonline.ch and develop new formats

Your profile

• Sound technical understanding and confidence in handling specialist topics
• Editorial or journalistic experience and enjoyment of writing
• Good language sense and editorial confidence in German
• Strong communication skills, independent and open to new technologies and AI
• Willingness to work flexibly throughout Switzerland
