IT Product Owner (100%)
Profile:
The person we are looking for is responsible for managing and evolving digital products, collaborating with stakeholders to define priorities, requirements, and development roadmaps. They ensure alignment between strategic objectives, operational needs, and application development, ensuring that implemented solutions generate value for the organisation.
They actively collaborate with Service Owners, Business Relationship Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, development teams, and UX/UI teams, fostering coordination among the various involved functions and contributing to the continuous improvement of products and processes.
The sought-after figure stands out for strong relational and communication skills, a collaborative attitude, and the ability to work in multidisciplinary contexts. Proactivity, result orientation, analytical and problem-solving skills are required, as well as the ability to manage different priorities and promote organisational change through a continuous improvement approach.
Main tasks:
- Vision definition: clearly define and communicate the product vision and long-term objectives to all stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the company strategy.
- Planning and Roadmap: actively collaborate with management to define, maintain, and achieve the product roadmap and business objectives.
- Requirements gathering: write clear and detailed User Stories, accompanied by precise and measurable acceptance criteria to effectively guide the development team.
- Customer value: define and prioritise product features, constantly balancing end-user needs with strategic value for the organisation.
- Product validation: verify and test developed features, ensuring compliance with acceptance criteria and collecting feedback for continuous improvement.
- Product Backlog Management: create, curate, and keep the product backlog updated, ensuring transparency and clarity of requirements.
- Team collaboration: synergistically collaborate within the EDT Area with development teams, UX/UI, Service Owners, Business Relationship Managers, Project Managers, and Business Analysts, fostering constant alignment between functional needs, design, and development.
- Stakeholder management: manage expectations and communication with various interested parties (clinical and administrative), acting as a point of contact and catalyst for requirements.
- Backlog management: prioritise and keep the product backlog updated to ensure it meets user and business needs.
- Data monitoring: analyse performance metrics and product usage to identify optimisation opportunities and guide data-driven decisions.
- Methodology: ensure compliance with internal IT guidelines related to the Product Owner role and ensure constant updating of product documentation and releases.
Required qualifications:
- High school diploma (e.g., SSIG) or an academic degree at bachelor or master level in computer science.
- At least 5 years of experience as a Product Owner.
- Excellent relational, communication, and mediation skills.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to facilitate workshops and multidisciplinary working groups.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering and management.
- Excellent project management knowledge.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the healthcare or hospital sector.
- Training in medical informatics.
- Product Owner certifications.
- Certifications in Agile methodologies.
- Project Management certifications.
- Knowledge of Business Process Management (BPM/BPMN).
- Knowledge of English and/or a second national language.
