About the job
As Lead Architect and Head of Architecture, you lead a team of 8 architects and take central control of CONCORDIA's IT architecture: You ensure that our IT landscape develops coherently, future-oriented and strategy-driven, act as the connecting element between business, IT strategy and implementation, and ensure that architecture, technology and product development work together optimally.

What to expect
- Overall responsibility and central controlling instance for the entire IT architecture (Enterprise, Security, Solution Architecture).
- Continuous development of the IT architecture and alignment with future requirements.
- Definition, expansion and maintenance of the target architecture including roadmaps.
- Ensuring a consistent architecture across all product groups.
- Moderation of architectural decisions, establishment of the corresponding decision-making processes and leadership of the architecture committees.
- Definition of architectural principles, guidelines, technology standards and policies.
- Evaluation of technological developments in the market and industry.
- Building and maintaining a strong partner network.
- Translation of business and IT strategy into concrete architectural target images, fields of action and measures.
- Creating transparency about the architecture and its development throughout the organisation.
- Responsibility for the application and interface inventory as a central basis for managing the IT landscape.
What you bring
- Completed studies (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering) or equivalent training with many years of professional experience.
- Several years of experience in a leading architecture role, ideally in a complex, product-oriented IT landscape.
- Profound understanding of modern architectural approaches (Cloud, Data, Platforms, AI) as well as broad experience in Enterprise Architecture, Security Architecture and Solution Architecture.
- Strong strategic thinking and the ability to translate IT strategy into implementable architectural solutions.
- Excellent communication and moderation skills; assertiveness combined with team orientation.
- Practical experience in creating architecture roadmaps, standards and policies.
- Experience in evaluating and introducing new technologies.
- An agile working and thinking mindset.

- Very good German skills; good English skills are an advantage.
