What you can contribute

• Independently lead and further develop an exceptionally competent expert team in organisational, personnel and technical terms while ensuring compliance with the security strategy, applicable regulations and compliance requirements
• Independently and purposefully lead the COMSEC/KRYPT specialist unit in the Cyber Command as process owner and implement and ensure compliance management according to the overarching instructions and guidelines
• Be responsible for the security and technical requirements for the Defence group and check and ensure compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, instructions and guidelines in the COMSEC/KRYPT area
• Ensure demand-oriented planning and continuous further development of the deployed resources and continuously align employees with new and current threat situations
• Plan, provide and continuously develop the capabilities and resources for counter-surveillance in the department, especially in the areas of scanning and screening of rooms and devices, analysis of equipment and emission behaviour, as well as assessment of the effects of electromagnetic influences on infrastructure and equipment
• Coordinate counter-surveillance operations

What makes you unique

• University or university of applied sciences degree with knowledge of electrical engineering (radio/high-frequency technology), information/communication technology and measurement technology
• Several years of leadership experience of interdisciplinary teams in an agile environment
• Strong process and project management skills
• Knowledge of and interest in the latest information technologies and information security as well as electromagnetic and cyber threats
• Good team player and a networking personality, discretion and an impeccable reputation
• Good active knowledge of at least one second official language and, if possible, passive knowledge of a third official language as well as good English skills
