To meet the growing demand for electrically powered buses, we are strengthening our teams in the area of Technology & Projects and are therefore looking for a dynamic Development Engineer specialising in Mechatronics.

Do you have a flair for vehicles and are fascinated by the interplay of mechanics and electronics? The implementation of the onboard network with the latest information and camera systems, networks, infotainment, HMI and M2M interfaces, as well as the programming of the individual components, have a great influence on the functions of the vehicle. In this challenge, you use your know-how daily to move thousands of people safely, comfortably and sustainably with electromobility in public transport. Your Tasks

• Development of software for the entire vehicle (multiplex system)
• Leading and/or participating in development projects, including conducting the necessary design reviews
• Programming and parameterisation of subsystems, including validation and verification in the test environment
• Execution and support of initial commissioning of subsystems and the entire 24V vehicle
• Support of customer service (3rd-level support)
• Product maintenance in the field of vehicle software

Our Requirements

• Technical basic training
• Further education BSc Automotive Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering or a similar field
• Basic programming skills in C/C++ or other programming languages
• Knowledge of working with communication systems such as the CAN bus
• Confident German and English skills, both spoken and written; French skills are an advantage
• Passion for vehicles and interest in electromobility
