About the job
- You actively accompany patients, conduct assessments and therapies under supervision, and support diagnostics as well as individual treatment planning.
- In interdisciplinary exchange with psychology, medicine, nursing and social work, a holistic, milieu-therapeutic care is ensured.
- Resource-oriented work enables addressing individual needs, considering offence-specific aspects, and promoting safe everyday strategies.
- You lead group therapies and actively contribute your own ideas to the further development of the therapeutic offer.
- Within forensic framework conditions, you support risk assessments and contribute to the safety of patients and the team.
- You have a completed degree in psychology or medicine and have already gained professional experience in a psychiatric facility. The position is aimed at both psychologists and assistant doctors interested in the specialist title training in forensic psychiatry and psychotherapy.
- Your psychotherapy training is already advanced.
- You meet the requirements for a professional practice permit as an assistant psychologist or assistant doctor of the canton of St. Gallen.
- You treat patients respectfully, without prejudice and professionally, working closely and reliably with internal and external specialists.
- You are confident in handling the structures of the measures enforcement and navigate them with ease.
- You are characterised by high commitment, initiative and very good German language skills (at least C1).
