About the job
The political municipality of Diepoldsau employs – excluding the teachers – around 170 employees in various professions and positions in administration, maintenance service, technical operations, student daycare, and the Rheinauen center.
For our workshop with the departments of maintenance service and technical operations, we are looking for a
Department Head (100%)
You will take overall responsibility and operational management of the workshop with both teams. With your clear and goal-oriented leadership style, you ensure high quality. We expect technical understanding and negotiation skills as well as experience in the areas of energy distribution and energy trading.
The diverse tasks include
- operational and strategic management of the workshop
- leading approximately 15 employees
- project responsibility for the expansion of infrastructures as well as monitoring and maintenance of the facilities
- budgeting, financial planning, and invoice control
- network and energy economic calculations, regulatory management
- contact person for the economic supply and advice of customers, builders, and architects for efficient energy use
- purchase and sale of energy, CATV, and water
- ensuring the supply of customers with electricity, CATV, water, and public lighting
- organization of administration for the billing of energy consumption as well as structured data management
- close cooperation with the municipal president
We expect
- education and training in technical and business administration or civil engineering
- strong leader with clear communication
- initiative, strong negotiation personality
- ideally a federal higher professional examination in electrical and energy engineering with professional experience
- teamwork and social skills are a prerequisite.
