Biomedical Analysis Technicians at the Clinical Chemistry Service
The Clinical Chemistry Service (CCL) of the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathology (DMLP) is looking for biomedical analysis technicians between 80% - 100% for the chromatography and mass spectrometry sector.
Context
The Lausanne University Hospital (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Clinical Chemistry Service (CCL) is tasked with performing, 24/7, a selection of analyses for CHUV services and external clients, ensuring the quality of results. It also participates in teaching and clinical research within the Institution.
Mission
- You perform and technically validate clinical chemistry analyses (adults and pediatrics) and specific analyses of the sector
- You contribute to the management, proper functioning, and correct use of the sector's instrumental equipment
- You communicate with laboratory clients
- You collaborate in managing the quality management system
- You participate in analytical developments in the chromatography and mass spectrometry sector.
Profile
- You hold a higher technical diploma (ES) in biomedical analysis from the Higher School of Health (ESsanté), an equivalent title recognized by the Swiss Red Cross (www.redcross.ch), or a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as a chemical laboratory technician with 10 years of experience in the specialty and diagnostic field
- You have expertise in analytics and in the use and maintenance of chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments (GC-MS, LC-MS/MS)
- You have good teamwork skills
- You demonstrate rigor, curiosity, care, and discretion
- Experience in the accredited field is an asset.
